The Internet Explorer team just as expected released the fourth platform preview of the upcoming Internet Explorer 9 browser. The preview still offers no “real” user interface, but lots of progress has been made under the hood. It’s very irritating if I need to access a particular page for research, and as Google’s cache of the page is usually also blocked it means that I can’t get at the content at all. While I could try to use a proxy to get around the blocking software, many of those are also blocked. Instead, I find the quickest and simplest solution is to use one of the many online services that convert web pages to PDFs.
